From a very young age, I've had a connection with music and it eventually became my eternal passion. To materialize that passion, I studied to become a professional musician and I specialized in percussion. Back then, as a musician, I was constantly recording in professional studios. Naturally, I became drawn to the technical part of the process.That's why, when I was 24, I began my studies to become a Sound Engineer, and did a specialization in Mixing and Mastering.
After some years of recording as a musician and as a technician, I decided to turn my life around and go travel the world. It was then that electronic music became of major importance in my everyday life, and I decided to study and train to become a DJ and Producer. I started to apply to my productions everything I had learned over the years, just like I do today. At that point, I did courses and learned with other sound engineers, to get familiar with the newest ways of tackling the art of Mixing and Mastering. I started a path of continuous learning and growth that will never end.
Today, at 42, I consider myself a professional and firmly believe that my knowledge and experience can help many artists out there. However, I also believe in having doubts and being an eternal learner. To me, that's the key factor to always keep growing and evolving. ZUstudio is a project that was born as a result of this story of dedication to music, both in the creative and technical aspects of it.
My goal is to make musical creations stand out for their author’s subjectivity and originality. I look after them as if they were little treasures, because they are an internal expression of one’s self.
